Helpful Hints.

Let's face it, seasickness happens. Regardless, there are a few things that you can do to help prevent it from happening.

    Before
  • Get plenty of sleep the night before.
  • Avoid greasy foods the night before and the morning of the trip.
  • Dress warmly.
  • For some, ginger works - start three days beforehand.
  • Take a seasickness pill at least a half hour before the trip.
  • Pack plenty of food and beverage. Food and beverages are not sold on the boat.
  • Bring a hat and sunglasses.
  • Think of all the great birds and mammals that you will see!
    During
  • Stay out of the cabin. Fresh air is the best remedy.
  • Drink plenty of fluids.
  • Try to keep eating something.
  • Ginger capsules may work.
  • Try a dab of White Flower Oil on your upper lip.
  • Scopalomine patches work for some people.
  • There's a handful of other remedies that people have tried. No one item works for everybody. Ask your friends.
  • Think of all the great birds and mammals that you are seeing!

  • Relax.
  • Drink plenty of fluids.
  • Eat!
